I joined Kim's new Granny-along and this was my first take on the granny square in some years. So maybe it isn't quite square... After It got to a normal square size, I stopped increasing in the corners and turned it into a little bowl (made from SWT's Karaoke). I felted it twice in the washing machine, blocked it over a plastic bowl, and there you have it.
The kids think it should be a hat.

super cute! I love the pics of the kids. I made a bowl out of Lopi some time ago and it looks like a hat, for sure.
The sad thing is, my husband would also be putting that on his head...(shakes head) I think it is really pretty, I would put my scrap balls in it and display it in my stash room!
That's so pretty, I love felted bowls.
Cool! I haven't made a felted bowl before...this is inspiring.
Dspite my resistance to felting, I seriously loved the way that your bowl turned out so much that I gave it a go myself. Thanks for the inspiration.
